The Blog Post page in the Emoll theme allows you to display individual articles with rich content, images, and related posts. You can customize how your blog content appears and enhance user engagement.
1. About the Blog Post Page
- The Blog Post Page displays a single blog article in detail.
- It includes the article title, featured image, publish date, and tags.
- You can share detailed content, stories, or updates with your audience.
- The layout is clean and optimized for readability and engagement.
2. Main Article Settings
- Color Scheme: Choose a color style for the blog post section.
- Media Height (Desktop): Control the height of the featured image on desktop devices.
- Media Height (Mobile): Set how the image behaves on mobile (e.g., adapt to image).
- Show Author: Enable to display the author name on the blog post.
- Show Date: Enable to display the publishing date.
- Show Tags: Display tags associated with the blog post.
- Section Spacing: Adjust top and bottom spacing for better layout control.
- Custom CSS: Add custom styles to further personalize the blog post design.
3. Article Recommendations Section
- The Article Recommendations section shows related blog posts.
- It helps increase engagement by encouraging users to read more articles.
- Recommended articles are displayed in a grid layout below the main content.
- Each article can show image, title, date, author, and excerpt.
4. Article Recommendation Settings
- Heading: Customize the section title (e.g., 'More articles from this blog').
- Heading Size: Choose the size of the section heading.
- Number of Articles to Load: Control how many related articles are displayed.
- Number of Columns: Set how many articles appear in one row.
- Show Author: Toggle to display the author name.
- Show Date: Toggle to display the publish date.
- Show Content: Display a short excerpt from each article.
- Image Aspect Ratio: Control the shape of article images (e.g., square).
- Mobile Layout: Choose how articles appear on mobile devices (e.g., single column).
- Section Spacing: Adjust top and bottom spacing for layout control.
5. Important Notes
- Ensure blog posts are published to appear in recommendations.
- Use high-quality featured images for better presentation.
- Keep article titles and excerpts engaging and informative.
- Limit the number of articles to maintain a clean layout.
- Always click Save after making changes.
