1. How to Access Cart Settings

• Log in to your Shopify Admin Dashboard.
• Go to Online Store ? Themes.
• Click Customize on your active theme.
• Click Theme settings (gear icon).
• Select Cart from the left panel.

2. How to Change Cart Type

Inside Theme settings ? Cart, you will find the Type dropdown. From here, you can choose how the cart appears on your store.

• Select Page to redirect customers to a full cart page.
• Select Drawer to open the cart in a sliding side panel.

3. Cart Types Overview

A. Cart Page

When Page is selected, customers are redirected to a dedicated cart page. This layout allows them to:

• View all added products
• Update quantities
• Remove items
• Add order notes
• Proceed to checkout

B. Cart Drawer

When Drawer is selected, the cart appears as a sliding panel from the side of the screen. Customers stay on the same page while reviewing their cart.

• Quick product overview
• Quantity adjustment
• Remove products
• Add order notes (if enabled)
• Direct checkout button

4. Additional Cart Settings

A. Vendor

Enable this option to display the product vendor/brand name inside the cart. Disable it to hide vendor information.

B. Cart Note

Enable Cart note to allow customers to add special instructions (for example: delivery notes or packaging requests).

C. Cart Drawer ' Collection (When Empty)

When using the Cart Drawer, you can select a collection to display when the cart is empty. This helps encourage customers to continue shopping.

D. Color Scheme

Choose a color scheme for the cart area to match your brand design. This setting applies to the cart page or drawer layout.
